I don’t remember that I’ve ever had a commission before, even when I was painting when I was young(er). Out of the blue last week a fellow volunteer at the Museum asked if I would sketch a portrait. He posed for a photo and I drew it from that today. He said he only wanted an ink drawing but I may also try a watercolor one just for practice. I do not intend to charge him for it as it’s an experiment for me.
