Starting the day

As I wrote a couple days ago, I’m thinking about adding a bit of visual journaling to my repertoire.  This is today’s page depicting how I usually start my day.  It is so nice to be retired.  I have time to read a newspaper.  While one can see most newspapers on-line, I don’t find that either satisfying or easy to navigate.  I tried replicating the Germany style calligraphy for the paper’s title, but I had too much ink on the pen nib.  Also, there’s a small element of collage in this one:  rather than paint the “Today” logo, I just pasted it on.
