Sketching An Tir

One of my several hobbies is the SCA,, a medieval and Rennaisance recreation group.  There was a significant event yesterday for which I missed another important event (Seattle Comic Con) in order to attend.  I’ll spare the details, but I did two sketches while I was there.  Colored them with watercolor pencils and light watercolor wash once I was home.

Sketched the back of this knight (and Baron? not sure what that coronet represents) while he was watching combat practice.

The thrones and heraldic banners of An Tir (An Tir is the region in the SCA including Oregon, WA and half of Canada!)
