Outbound flight

We’ve just returned from several days in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  I’ll be uploading the sketches I did in separate posts here.  We traveled outbound last Thursday, 14 March.

This is the central terminal at SeaTac airport (Seattle/Tacoma, WA).  On the left is just a hint of the huge windows.  I’d hoped to feature them in the sketch but since it was 6:30 am, it was still dark outside!  The red bucket in the foreground was a puzzle.  It was just a red utility bucket but it had fake ferns in it, supported by a plastic disc.  I thought it might be an attempt to dress up a bucket placed to catch drips.

The next two are sketches in my small pocket hand*book.  This is just a couple of waiting passengers, one of whom spent the entire time texting on her smartphone.

This is my view from the airline seat.  Many people post such sketches and they seem to include more.  I’m short.  This is all I can see!
