My husband went to Bellingham (north west corner of WA… near the Canadian border) for LinuxFest NW. Linux is a computer operating system. It is open source (meaning free, or nearly free, depending on the distribution) and the work is done by volunteers. I went along for the ride and to explore Bellingham.

I’ve decided to work on a series on mailboxes. This is the first one. It is in the European style, but more continental than English, and was found at the Abbey Garden Tea Room.
I had lunch there. The Yorkshire Gold tea was perfect. The Cornish Pasty was delicious. It was still a little nippy outside so I finished the watercolor inside.
