West Seattle sketch outing

The Friday Sketchers from Urban Sketchers Seattle met at Jack Block park.  It was a glorious day.  By late afternoon it was a little too warm for me but during our sketch the weather was cool and sunny.

I sketched a view somewhat similar to that which I did last year when we had a sketch outing here.

As usual, we shared our sketches and posed with them.

Kate, Tina, Nilda, Frances, Susan, PeggyG, Natalie, Gardon

While sketching, I met two people who might be interested in joining USK Seattle.  Carl’s printed card.  Turns out he’s a  wood block printer and has done watercolors.  Maybe a prospective new member for USK?

Also met Dale, who searched us out after seeing the announcement of this ad hoc sketch outing.  We talked sketch kits.

After the outing was over, three of us went to lunch at Pegasus Pizza in Alki Beach and then went wandering around, finally ending up doing some beach combing.  More photos here
