Waiting, waiting

My car just had service and now the brakes are making a funny noise.  Called up the dealer and was told to bring it in.  They determined the brakes were not unsafe but replaced the pads anyway, as warranty work.  I didn’t take a loaner, so I sat in the dealer’s very comfortable lounge for a few hours.  I got a lot of reading done but I also sketched several people as they came and left……

They are sleeping, reading devices or even a book!

This man took what looked like a Boeing ID badge out of its sleeve and put it in a slot on his computer.  Must be an access card for work.

I talked with her a little after I did the sketch.  She and her husband were waiting to pick up a new car….turns out it is a Prius.  I shared how happy we’ve been with our older model Prius (pre hatchback style) that is now 11 years old!

Lots of fun portraits… You must’ve been there quite a while!
