UW Greenhouse

The Friday Sketchers met at University of Washington (UW) campus on Friday, 27 September (yesterday).  We thought we might sketch in the medicinal herb garden.  But it was chilly and about to rain.  So we took shelter in the Botany Greenhouse.

There were lots of exotic and interesting species.  Hairy cactus!  Mutant looking plants!  The Greenhouse manager was enthusiastic about our sketches and invited the larger Urban Sketchers group to come sketch.

I managed 3 sketches:

Do not take the squash! On a table in the greenhouse

We shared our sketches as usual.

Here are photos of the most mutant looking of the cacti.  All my photos are here.
