12 Nov NaNoDrawMo

Two more sketches keep me on quota for NaNoDrawMo.  These make 25.  Half way there!

This is from a photo of my favorite pet rat, Panda.  Watching rats eat peas always charmed me.  They would very delicately eat the “meat” out of the pea and leave the skin behind.  So labor intensive but I surmise they just don’t like the taste of the skin.  Who knew?

Next is another “object portrait”.  This is the hamster puppet that, with the attachment of home made felt wings, becomes the mascot of the Barony of WyewoodBubba the Bat-winged Hamster.  They did their research and both the name and the heraldic charge (picture on a coat of arms) are period to the middle ages!  He’s an indication of some of the SCA silliness that happens in Wyewood.

You’re keeping up well with your NaNoDrawMo quota! I usually work on Tuesdays, so I didn’t get to even one today…
