Gabi on TV

Gabi (on right) with Frank Ching, local Urban Sketcher and UW professor emeritus.; a year ago during a sketch outing to Emerald City Trapeze Arts

Gabi Campanario was on TV again this past week.  Only yesterday did I get through some of the things saved on TIVO for a couple weeks.  One of them was Evening Magazine from King-5.

It’s about half way through this section, which also starts with a commercial.  The hosts are recording from MOHAI, so they mention the Drawn to Seattle Exhibit.  And then show the old recording of Gabi.  It was done when the Fun Forest was still at Seattle Center, so that was a couple years ago!

FYI:  Gabi Campanario is “the Seattle Sketcher” and the founder of Urban Sketchers.

Just because I have the photo: Gabi (at left) with Tommy Kane, a well known artist and Urban Sketcher; Tommy was visiting from NYC and we held a sketch outing at Ballard Locks in September 2012

Thanks for posting the link! I don’t usually watch Evening Magazine, so I would have missed it. They even gave a pitch to the Urban Sketchers-in-Residence! 🙂
