More indoor sketches

Though it might be fairly nice out this afternoon, I’m still resting my knee.  It’s better and I’ll be walking on it quite a bit tomorrow.  Thus, I’m just sketching inside today.

The first is this wild Seahawks decorated car I saw at the grocery store yesterday.  I sketched from the quick photos I took.

Next is sort of an “on location” sketch, the location being the couch!  In reading Thorspecken’s new book on Urban Sketching, he recommends practicing sketching people with one’s own family.  I have only one subject and this is one of a couple poses in which he’s the most still!  It’s not a very good likeness, though.  He’s getting caught up on watching a week’s worth of “The News Hour” on PBS.
