Soos Creek Botanical

What a day!  Cloudless sky, bright sun and at least 85 degrees!

In the afternoon I went to Soos Creek Botanical Garden.   It’s relatively small and about 20 minute’s drive from my home.  I was there about 2.5 hours, wandered around and did 2 sketches.  It was too hot in the sun to sketch!  I had to find views to sketch that were in the shade.

After months of 40-50 degrees and rain, this sudden heat is hard to take!  I like the sun, though.

It is a gate to nowhere. A nice bubbling bit of water, too.

It was a gorgeous day, wasn’t it! It didn’t get quite as warm in my neck of the woods — maybe only 75.
