Christmas Interface

Interface is a sculpture of walkers at Gene Coulon Park in Renton.  I’ve sketched it  before this year after I learned some women dress it up for the holidays.  (Apple Cup, Dressed for the 4th)  I first sketched them in their natural state in 2012

Of course I had to check whether they were dressed for Christmas.  I’d gone over earlier in the month and they were not.  But now they are.  They seemed to be wearing synthetic graduation gowns but in green and red.  Behind the figure on the left is one of the dancing clams from the “Clam Lights” display of holiday lights at the park.
