Vendor Day

Saturday was Daniel Smith Seattle store (“the mothership”) Vendor Day.  A long list of art supply companies had tables set up with product information and demonstrations.  I met up with several Urban Sketchers there!  I didn’t buy much, though….  just one new synthetic brush.

Met Don Colley at the Faber-Castell table.  I’ll be in his workshop tomorrow.   I liked the vest with the pockets full of pen rolls.  He “geeked out” even more for the photo, adding additional pens.  He does fabulous sketchbook art with just the marker pens and inks.   I’m not likely to switch from watercolor to markers, but I think the workshop will be fun!
