A fake, but sweet, holiday

It has been declared to be National Donut Day.  I needed to pick up a new prescription for himself late in the afternoon, so I combined that trip to south end of town with other errands.  One of them was to take a canned food donation for Northwest Harvest food bank to Top Pot in order to get my “free” doughnut.

I didn’t eat my treat there, though I would have preferred to sketch it in situ.  It was already 1700 and I needed to get home to make dinner.  Plus I didn’t want to spoil said dinner by eating a doughnut just before.

After a dinner, I sketched it and then shared it for dessert.

  2. I didn’ t hear about the holiday until it was too late for me to get out. lol Glad you caught one and enjoyed eating and sketching it.
