Wing One delivered

“Wingin’ it” is how the Museum of Flight captioned their photo of the delivery truck in the middle of the night.

I might also call it “Thing One”. Wing Two (or “Thing Two”) comes down tonight, leaving about an hour after the fuselage departs about 0200.

I was not up at 0300 to watch it travel. I did go over to the Museum to sketch it on site. They’ve taken over the Raisbeck Aviation High School parking lot as a staging area. So I sketched the length of the wing with the school in the background.
