Gas Works Park

Finally….Urban Sketchers Seattle had our first outing in 15 months today! It seemed a charmed day as the predicted all day rain held off during the time of our meeting. It rained before and it has poured rain since. We even had enough sun for there to be some shadows.

It was wonderful to gather with old friends and to see new members in person whose work I’ve only admired on line for the past year.

I only did one sketch as I chatted a bit more than usual. I like the juxtaposition of the primary color paint on the gas works in the children’s play are against the big, rusty, old gas works in the park.
