Inktober So Far

Did ya miss me?  I’ve been traveling for 3 weeks… in England!  It was great and I have lots of sketches, photos, and stories.

I’ve been doing Inktober but not the prompts.  These are mostly just the line drawings prior to painting.  All done on location.   I’m just going to do a dump of all of them so far as you’ll see them again when I post about each week of the trip so more detail about each location will be offered then.  For that I’ll have to scan them all, which will take a bit of time.

Except for the first one at the airport, these were all done in and around Leeds.  That’s in “The North”, in West Yorkshire.

Moved on to York:

This one has a story. A man sat down next to me and we talked about what I was doing and his own art. Then his little daughter came up to give me these tiny wildflower blossoms (in upper left).

Manchester:  these final three are just very quick line drawings done while waiting to fly out from Manchester airport.

Amazingly, I’m up to date.  Except for today.
